The Breaking Chains Mentorship program at Tree of Hearts is designed to empower youth and young adults, ages 10 through 24, to break free from limitations and build a foundation for a successful future. We provide comprehensive life skills training, personalized mentorships, and practical support to help participants navigate the challenges of adolescence and young adulthood. To better serve our community, we offer a hybrid model, with some services provided virtually, allowing for greater flexibility and accessibility.
Key Program Components:
Life Skills Training:
- Cooking and meal preparation (with virtual demonstrations and guidance)
- Cleaning and household maintenance (with virtual tutorials)
- Budgeting and financial literacy (with online tools and resources)
- Time management and organization (with virtual planning sessions)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (with virtual role-playing and discussions)
Daily Living Skills:
